Guest guest
I feel pretty certain (and I'm not one of the list experts) that the statement " may be tried after considerable improvement, " only applies to turnips. Diane _____ From: pecanbread [mailto:pecanbread ] On Behalf Of lzq13b Sent: Tuesday, January 31, 2006 2:26 PM To: pecanbread Subject: Are potatoes permitted on the SCD? Before you answer this question, I understand that Breaking the Vicious Cycle states on page 63 that " potatoes and yams are not permitted " but what about page 74: " NOT PERMITTED Grains such as wheat, barley, corn, rye, oats, rice, buck-wheat, millet, triticale, bulgur, spelt. (No cereals, bread, or flour made from these). Potatoes (white or sweet), yams, parsnips, okra, chick peas, bean sprouts, soybeans, mungbeans, fava beans, garbanzo beans, turnips (may be tried after considerable improvement). " So what's the answer " not permitted " or " may able tried after considerable improvement " ????
