Hi people!!!

I am three weeks post-op today, and I have lost an amazing

21lbs!!! I still can't see it yet, but that's ok for now. I am

having a couple small problems that I wanted to ask about. I have e-

mailed Dr. R, but I guess he's probably too busy too respond.

I am having trouble with exhaustion. I can't seen to get enough

sleep. I am ALWAYS tired and I find myself falling asleep at

work!!! Thank God I have an office with a door that locks!!! I am

eating right and getting all of my meds in - I don't know what's

wrong. My energy level is pretty low. Mornings are especially

tough. I still have some nausea in the mornings - is that because of

hormones - I did have to stop taking birth control pills. Any

suggestions?

Also, I hate to bring this up, but I spend a lot of time in the

bathroom - which I think is normal, but how long does that last?

Will it always be like this? I digest food so quickly and it can

sometimes be very inconvenient. I work and go to school - both full

time. I don't have that much time to spend, literally, sitting

around - if you know what I mean!!

Other than that, things are great. I am able to eat a lot more

things then I thought I would - eggs, yogurt, cheese, crackers, some

fruit & veggies, potatoes, chicken, peanut butter, cottage cheese,

soups, pasta, etc. I'm still learning and it gets better every day.

Good luck to all of those in the process - hang in there - I

definitely feel your pain. It will happen, just be patient!!!

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thnaks for

your help!!!!
