Matija, I think that may be part of the problem: the misunderstanding among most physicians and perhaps even dermatologists that Cetaphil is a gentle enough cleanser for most people. But, is there any cleanser that's gentler? I'm curious how others in this group experience Aquanil? That was what my pharmacist recommended when I showed him my skin and asked if Cetaphil was the best for me. I didn't react to it, but I didn't like it for a number of reasons. I'm looking forward to trying your Aveeno. Should be this weekend. > The 25% was a misinterpretation on my part of a study on the efficacy > of the Metros/oral antibiotics. I think I got the percentage of whom > this combo work for wrong. Your point is very well taken. Just over half in that study had a total or near-total remission, while the rest of the 75% responded with at least a 70% remission. So about 25% had less than a 70% remission. But whose to say that the remission wouldn't have been higher for everyone if they used non-irritating ingredients?
