Guest guest
If you check the archives, you'll find numerous posts regarding those foundations. Jane Iredale seems to be the most popular, with Youngblood coming in second. Philosphy also makes a mineral makeup, I'm only suggesting it bec their products are more mass marketed and therefore, easier to obtain. I personally have not used it. Take a quick run thru the archives, you find the pros and cons. but the derm said that foundations just help to exeborate the sebderm so I decided to give the minerals foundations another go. I have used them before but could not find a good colour for me. > Just wondering if any of you use them and if you have a preference. all of thme are supposed to provide good irritant free coverage for rosacea > > Would love to hear your comments on > Jane Iredale > Bare Escentuals > Youngblood > really any of them. Guest guest
Hi - I'm happy to hear that your meds are helping! As for mineral foundations, I use Jane Iredale, but I must admit that the color isn't quite right (too pale). I bought a sampler set of La Bella Donna mineral foundation powders from a site called http://www.whosthefairest.com , but they don't carry them anymore, I've just discovered! I feel that the Bella Donna stuff goes on even smoother than the Jane Iredale, and the Jane Iredale is pretty darn impressive (when I tried the J. Iredale, I almost wept because it was the first time in years that my skin looked " normal " ). Most liquid foundations would not stick to my nose, & if I applied them lightly to just my red areas, you could see a texture difference (the only one that didn't have a major texture difference was the foundation from Aveda). Back to the La Bella Donna - it's application/texture is smoother, & the color that works for me is a bit warmer (the J. Iredale equivalent is too pale, & the next color is too pink). Oh, I just looked for other sources of La Bella Donna & got no-where. I did find a phone # - 1-800-74BELLA, & they have a website in the works (http://www.labelladonna.com) I wish you luck in your search! - in Michigan
