Guest guest
Hi, I am having Vbeam treatments and will post details of my results at the end of the series of treatments, as well as how they compare to my previous photoderm treatments. So far, after three full-face vbeams (plus ears) I am seeing reasonable improvement considering the severity of both my flushing and visible damage, and am getting some amount of relief in daily burning and pain. There has been no bruising at all, but I do experience post tx swelling and extra redness for several days, as I did following photoderm. I'm finding that it can take about 3 weeks until I see/feel the positive effects. Update to follow! Jen >Not much mention of v-beam on here lately. >I would love to know how all of those who have tried the treatment >are getting on. > >How has it helped you and are you pleased with the effects? >Did any of you get any bruising after the treatments? >Let us know what you think overall. > >Thanks
Guest guest
Hi Jen, I'm glad the V-Beam is going well for you. I know you've had PhotoDerm treatments as well. Do you think that the V-Beam is helping your skin more than the PhotoDerm did? I was just curious because I'm considering the V-Beam. Thanks! Guest guest
Thanks Matija, To tell you the truth, I'm finding it difficult to compare the effectiveness of the two treatments just yet. I have no regrets about doing the (many) photoderm treatments as they had some positive effect on all my symptoms and put me several steps forward, but there was not enough improvement in flushing and facial pain to enable me to stop my constant fan or reduce the daily meds. I decided to try the Vbeam to see if it would bring any additional relief, particularly to one large portion of my face which didn't respond so well to photoderm. As far as the actual treatment, I do prefer the Vbeam, which I find less painful and faster than photoderm. Also, for me, Vbeam seems to produce slightly faster results than photoderm on telangiectasia and constant redness. It is helping somewhat with flushing and burning, but I have such strong nerve-mediated flushing that it remains to be seen whether the early results will hold up, if there will be any more improvement, and how it will all compare to my photoderm experience. I'll keep you posted! Jen >I'm glad the V-Beam is going well for you. I know you've had >PhotoDerm treatments as well. Do you think that the V-Beam is helping >your skin more than the PhotoDerm did?
