Guest guest
When I went to Cleveland Clinic this past Wed. I ask my Dr. Conwell about pancreatic Burnout and he told me that he has been a pancreatic doc since 94 at CC, and he has yet to see it exist. He told me that he now even sure it does happen. This did make me feel a little better, since my other doc told me it would happen in 5-10 years, when I reach 10 years I was told it would take 10-15 yrs, now they have revised it to 15-20 yrs. Why can't most docs be honest and say that they are not sure it even exists. At least they would not be giving me any more false hope. Before I even went to see Dr conwell, I really did not believe that burn-out exist. So now I feel better hearing it from a knowledgeable doc. I hope I haven't dampen anyone's hopes, but this is just how I think. Take Care, Louie in WV
