Guest guest
Just got a 'script for protopic. Have used it 2x now. Am supposed to use it on my upper lip and bottom parts of my cheeks (Where I hav what appear to almost be papules, but I don't flush). When I apply to my upper lip, there is some extra irritation, doesnt appear too major. When I apply to lower cheeks, they instantly get bright red/purple. Even though those areas on my cheeks do not flush under most circumstances, literally the instant i apply the protopic those areas sting and get bright red/purple (About 3x worse than my worst flush area). It hasnt gone down yet (just applied it) but the first time it went mostly away w/in an hour or so. Is this a typical early side effect of protopic that I just need to work through for a week or two or some sort of reaction that means I should just use the protopic on my upper lip from now on? Thanks in advance Adam
