Guest guest
Could someone please define papules vs pustules... are they the same thing? Are they like pimples? Are they squeezable? I have started developing some small bumps, very very hard bumps, and they look like they have a white core, but are definitely not squeezable. a
Guest guest
I get the same bumps that a describes and they are neither pustules or papules but seem closer to the definition of a sebaceuos hyperplasia (sp.?)--they are very hard, white little bumps that never go away--I have tried picking and scraping them off but they do not change at all no matter what I put them on them--I have had them for about a year or so with no change--I have about six of them right in the middle of my forehead. Guest guest
Ralph, Do you find that these little bumps are on the tender side? More so than an average pimple? The hurt associated with trying to squeeze or scrap one is a bit different than a pimple, and I there are occurring only on the forehead close to the hairline... very strange. a > I get the same bumps that a describes and they are neither pustules or > papules but seem closer to the definition of a sebaceuos hyperplasia > (sp.?)--they are very hard, white little bumps that never go away--I have > tried picking and scraping them off but they do not change at all no matter > what I put them on them--I have had them for about a year or so with no > change--I have about six of them right in the middle of my forehead. > > Sorry I don't a treatment suggestion but wanted to let you know that you're > not the only one

Guest guest
a, Another possibility is that the bumps could be milia, tiny cysts which generally do not go away on their own but must be excised by a dermatologist. However, these normally are not sensitive. a Re: Re: Papules vs Pustules >Ralph, Do you find that these little bumps are on the tender side? More >so than an average pimple? Guest guest
Are milia always round and/or tiny? I have a few on my forehead that are a little uneven and not the tiny, pin-point kind. I assume they are milia, but I could be wrong. They are underneath the surface and not too raised. What is the process for removal? Anyone ever had this done?
