Guest guest
A note from Karyn, Exec. Director, PAI As the founder and owner of this message board, Yahoo informs me of current situations, problems, and changes in its service policy. Yahoo asked me to forward this to the members of the message board. Abusers of our Terms of Service Yahoo! reserves the right to remove any post that doesn't fall within our terms and conditions. Yahoo! also reserves the right to revoke the posting privileges of members who consistently abuse our Terms of Service. This is a segment of Yahoo TOS: 1. Keep it short. Do Not Tag on the Previous Post- Because people are carrying over the previous message in every post, Yahoo is currently experiencing problems accepting large posts (800+ characters or 150 words). Normally, post can be 250 to 400 words. Keep your post clean and only 'reference' or 'highlight' one or two lines of the previous post. Until further notice, any email that exceeds 150 words will not be posted or will be deleted if it is posted. With so few words, make sure that you get to use them. 2. Content of posts Messages that harass, abuse, or threaten; have obscene or otherwise objectionable content; have Spam, commercial, or advertising content or links may be removed and may result in the loss of your Yahoo! ID (including email). 3. Stay on the topic Comments that aren't specific to the topic you're posting about are annoying to other users and violate our http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/ " >Terms of Service. 4. Don't assume that you're completely anonymous and can't be identified by your posts. Never assume people are who they say they are, know what they say they know, or are affiliated with whom they say they are. Yahoo! takes user http://privacy.yahoo.com/privacy/us/ " > privacy very seriously and will take reasonable measures to respect your privacy. Don't disregard these rules. When you post a message, you agree to abide by our http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/ " >Terms of Service. ****************************************************************************** ******************** I want to say that for the most part everybody does such a good job following these guidelines. I know that many people feel they are strict and often place that blame in me. I must say that I was surprised to find that Yahoo is now taking an active role in enforcing them. This message board should be a safe place. It does put you in a vulnerable position to know that your heart and soul....and email address are accessible to strangers. The PAI is committed to do what they can do to safeguard this privilege. Yahoo will, too.
