Guest guest
Jenise, Just a short reply as I am pressed for time, so sorry. When I went to see Dr. lehamn in Indy for a possible ERCP this past summer, they were doing the Interleukin study as well. Actually they were very active in the study. He told me that they were getting very promising results and that the incidence of pancreatitis had decreased with the Interlekin. I personally would strongly consider having the Interleulin injection before a ERCP. So far I have been blessed with still having a choice of having an ERCP or notr, but if I am ever in that situation I would really think aboit it. Just ask them what the worst side effects are. And if they are not as bad as having a pancreatitis attack, what could you lose ? Wishing you a painless ERCP, Lily Test Study > Next Wednesday I am scheduled to have another ERCP and was asked to > participate in a test study. Before my ERCP I will be given an injection of > Recombinant Human Interleukin-10(Tenvovil) to hopefully keep me from having a > post ERCP attack. I was wondering if anyone has tried this? Guest guest
Thanks Louie! I will probably have the shot. I only have 1 question for the doc. According to the consent form I got one person has died, but it didn't say if it was from the shot or the attack afterwards. I think any complications other than death I am willing to go for it. Not sure how the rest of you feel, but an attack is the closest thing to dying I know of so I can't imagine any side affect being as bad.
