Guest guest
Thanks to everyone who stopped by and chatted with my husband. I was out of it for some time. I had my surgery on the 29th. While in the holding area, I asked for some sedatives. This was great. As soon as they were administered, I went out like a light. The next thing I know, I am in my room. Dr. R. Was always around. He really is some kind of God. I had to have a partial, (pouch without bypass) because of the liver damage he found. I will still loose, just not as fast. This is better for the liver. When I woke up I heard my husband telling someone, " she had a partial her liver is shot " . WELL after hearing that, I went to sleep for what seems forever. I kept telling him, don't tell me about the liver until I can understand. I was nervous. I just wanted to know what a partial was and could I loose 100 pounds. (yes I can) Dr. R. came to see me and explained about the liver. He made is sound less dramatic then my husband. Like I said he is a God. I ended up staying until Wednesday evening, mainly because I kept bleeding alot from one of the staples. The bleeding was mostly because of my liver damage. I wasn't losing good blood, this was extra blood. It did take me a while to get up and walk around. I was so jeolous when I heard everyone left on Tuesday. But I am home now. Feeling better, but still a little bloated. I have no appitite and feel full very fast after a sip of juice. I don't have transportation to this weeks clinic. I guess I will have my regular Dr. take out the staples. I will come to the first clinic after Dr. R. Returns. Oh, one more note. After clinic on Tuesday the 30th, Dr. R. came to see me again. I can't believe the energy this man has. He never rushed me and always made me feel valued. Thank you Dr. Rutledge, you are the best, and you will always have a place in my prayers.
