Guest guest
Sherry, The answer is yes. A child can have rosacea. However I do not believe that rosacea is conclusive in the case of your daughter, particularly given her recent health problems. I highly recommend having her tested, including bloodwork and 24 hour urinalysis, to rule out other conditions such as carcinoid, which can also cause facial flushing. - Jim ___________ My 12 year old has had a flushed face off and on for a while now. She had a high fever over a month ago and her face has been red since and it's not going away. Could this be rosacea. The information I have read says adults get it between the age of 40-60. CAn a child get it. Sherry

Guest guest
I had it starting at the age of 14. I agree that you should take your child to a doctor to rule out any other conditions.
