Here's another link courtesy of Dr. Yoder, that is a detailed article

about the possible application of stem cell research in finding a

cure for diabetes.

This is one chapter of a comprehensive NIH report that deals

specifically with diabetes and growing new islet cells from stem

cells. The entire document is also a fascinating (and hopeful) read!
