Guest guest
It seems that CP has become more rare than what I have reported in the past. The 1995 numbers were 17 in 100,000 and the new 2000 numbers per the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract (SSAT) place CP at 5-10 in 100,000. They also point to a 75% alcohol abuse causation (up from 60%). I tend to believe the numbers as they name Dr. CF Frey as a source. He wrote the report in 1995 that gave the original numbers.
