What an ordeal you are going through. I find it heard when the doctor says they don't want a patient on narcotics, but when there is so little to offer as an alternative for effective pain management, it is frustrating. I fully support managing pain with other types of agents, also. Such as you are doing to treat any depression, anxiety, and using neurotransmitters such as Neurontin. She is a trooper. Guest guest
, I'm so sorry the current GI and all are so set on not giving Jackie any narcotics to relieve her pain. Makes me want to slug the doctors for causing her such agony. Give her and yourself an extra hug from me, you both need them. Sometimes you have to be tough about the way you deal with doctors. If they refuse to treat your daughter, who is obviously in such pain, they should be fired. Good for you. I'll keep the prayers up that the new Pedi GI is a good one and will actually be more concerned with making Jackie as pain free as possible. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
