Guest guest
Dear , How old is she, and tell us about her. The more we know the more help she can get! Does anyone know how many > years it takes for chronic pancreatitis to go away? It never goes away unless the pancreas goes away, or burned out, enough said. What are the > treatments other than pain medication? operations and more painkillers, and a host of pills to keep the body running normal. How serious does > this disease get? Dead serious What can I do to be helpful? Keep her stress free, help her with things, activity adds to the pain, low-fat diets. A person can go into shock from the pain, keep a close eye on her during a major attack. Get her a good GI. Read back as far as possible here. You will learn a lot! About everything is covered. She needs to be the one on the learning end. I hope she never has another attack. Thanks, > My sis has had chronic pancreatitis since May. She also had a > miscarriage during this time.
