Guest guest
, I had only seen my PCP for two weeks before I had my surgery. My original pcp wouldn't support me and I had to find another one. Guest guest
Nothing like needing a physical, pap test, and mammogram to create a new relationship with a doctor! YOu'll need a doctor to do your blood work in the future and who will be familiar with the fact you have had this surgery and who can work with Dr. Rutledge if anything comes up. So, may as well take advantage of having to get all this health testing out of the way to establish a realtionship with one in your area. All you need is the physical (by that doctor) along with a letter that says s/he will be glad to supervise your medical needs and perform any blood tests you need in the upcoming years, or something to that effect. My PCP is a doll and actually used to assist in weight loss surgery himself, and he was very supportive, but his support letter was only 2-3 lines long. Kind regards, > I was just reading again on Dr. R's website about the letter of support from > our physician, and it says " All patient are required to have a close working > relationship of at least several months with a local physician " .
