Those gizmos(thromboguards) drove me crazy too! I walked at least 10 times

throughout the night,the chances of me getting a blood clot was sort of a

joke (my blood never had a chance to pool!). Between the gizmos and the

overhead speaker I had no sleep! I recommend bringing cotton balls for your

ears,and I can't say enough about my " body " pillow! When you roll on your

side the first time it feels like your insides will fall forward/out! My

pillow kept everything " tight " (mental thing I know). It was wonderful!

Another thing is that most people don't sleep well after anesthesia anyway,so

you might as well walk!
