Thanks for the followup. I'm glad you didn't listen to all of the doubters.

I was really getting kind of mad after being called a liar by several of

the posters.

I'm willing to give just about anything a try that doesn't put me in the

poor-house, at least for now... :) now, we try the Vita-K ... but, what

everyone really has to remember is that we are all different. For as many

different looking people there are in the world, there are no doubt that

many different reasons for having cea, and we all react in our own way

as on of the initial doubters as referred to by snow skiman, I would

like to be on record that I would rather someone use gold bond in

preference to a corticosteroid. (gold bond, inc. you can send my

check to my swill account, thank you :) )

Yes, Gold Bond did releive me of my red/pink cheeks and chin. I had just

about every syptom people have listed on this message board (flakes, bumps

and burning). I invite everyone else to share their results of their

experience with Gold Bond.

Hi: My husband bought gold bond (green) and tried a small amount as a

test on the back of his hand. The skin on the test site broke out in

blister like red bumps. Needless to say.... we returned the product.

Has anyone had a look at the inactive ingredients? Just our

experience.....may not necessarily be that of others!

Why do you stay away from Gold Bond if you have never tried it and you are

still red? Gold Bond has COMPLETELY supressed my rosacea. It's your

choice... take a chance on Gold Bond or look like rudolph.

I tried the Gold Bond too, but only used it for four days. When I applied

it just to my lower cheeks (where its dry but doesnt flush much) I didn't

see a whole lot of change. I didn't see any increase in flushing/swelling

like I have with every other moisturizer I've tried. When I applied it to

the whole left side of my face, I did see a bit more flushing, but no extra

swelling or anything. Overall I was impressed, it was much better than most

moisturizers I've ever used, but I didn't really see any improvement, and

when I put it on my entire cheek, I did flush a little easier. Should I

have discontinued using it like I did, or does it sometimes take several

weeks to see good results with it?

This is a very helpful comparison. I would have assumed that menthol might

be irritating to inflammed skin, but I might be completely off here. All my

chapsticks are mint or menthol flavour, and when my lips are really chapped

in witner, the menthol burns a teeny weeny bit. I have never seen Gold Bond

in white bottles, I did look at the ingredients of the green bottle just

last week, incidentally, but did not buy it (yet). I would assume that the

white Gold Bond, with its absence of fragrance, parabens and propylene

glycol, etc. would be the safest way to go and menthol could easily be added

if desired.

Hi. I've been using the Gold Bond lotion for sensitive

skin (in the white bottle) for over a month now and am

very pleased with the results. I have mild rosacea

with very large pores, oily skin and flakes on one

cheek. My pores seem smaller, my complexion is much

smoother and less greasy and the flakes have

decreased. I use it in the morning and before I go to

bed. I also wash with Phisoderm at night and Cetaphil

cleansing bar in the morning. The only makeup I use is

Revlon's New Complexion Corrective Powder compact in

the " even out " color, which has a yellowish tint to

it.

Revlon's New Complexion Corrective Powder compact in

the " even out " color, which has a yellowish tint to

it.

Yes you can get it at Walmart or online at www.drugstore.com I use the

Green bottle with the red cap. One word of advice... use it by itself,

don't mix it with other topicals.
