Guest guest
My son was very low (in the red) in Selenium on the Red Blood Cell elements test which measures multiple minerals and a handful of metals. For our situation the low was a result of chelation. It had previously been in the good range. As mercury leaves the body it attaches itself to selenium (or vice versa) with a ratio of 1:4 I believe. I have not studied this, this is what I was told by our DAN. We were advised to give 100 mcgs to my son on the " off " days of chelation(every other day). My son weighs 40 lbs. We did this for 7-8 months. We got his most recent RBC elements results back and the selenium is back up again. So we are not supplementing anymore, and we are done chelating, also found out the metals are out!
