Thank you so much for calling me when Jackie was in the hospital.

When we took her off the Reglan she did start resting. She said a

few days later, " I don't know how I walked so much " .

Also, answering your question about a picc line. Is that the same

thing as a central line? They were going to put one in Sunday cuz

her hand was swollen so they took her IV out but they poked on her 7

times for blood and 5 time for an IV could not get a vein. Really not

poked but dug for very LONG periods of time. Jackie got really upset

about the central line and I was telling her that and

told me on the phone that it was not too bad of a procedure. Her

nurse said " It is a very uncomfortable procedure " . Well that really

upset Jackie more crying and freaking out. Well they decided to put

her on clear liquids and try that. Then the next day they tried for

blood again and could not get a vein. So the doc ordered an IV again,

don't know why. The doc did tell Jackie the central line procedure

was not too bad so that calmed her down about it. They couldn't get

an IV told her (when I was taking a shower) that she would be getting

a central line. She wasn't too upset. Well a couple hours later

they said well if she keeps tolerating the clear liquids then we

won't. Well, they didn't and she kept on clears. She is still on

clears now, we will try food tomorrow. The hospital called today and

asked how our treatment was, and I gave her a long talk. She asked

if the nursing director could call me and I said sure. I also told

her me and my family will have to be half dead before we go to that

hospital again. And I will tell this director that. I also mean it.

Well, Thanks again for calling me and telling me that about the

reglan. It was so sweet. I also came home and saw it on all the

posts from everyone. I so need a laptop and will probably be getting

it for Christmas as a present to the family. My girls really want

one. I didn't want to charge a bunch this Christmas but I think I

will splurge. Wish I had one for next week when we go to MUSC but I

guess it can wait for Santa to bring it, LOL. Talk to ya soon,
