I wish you a happy and fulfilled year.

My name is Bert Simon (www.bertsimon.com) and

I'm a photographer from

Germany. People have anticipated my debut book for quite some time, but I

kept it shelved until recently.

I also happen to be a founding member of a charity that cares for families

with CF in Germany. We're about to extend our work to families in the USA as

well.

I waited with the publishing of my debut book for so long because I wanted

our CF foundation to harvest the benefits and I also wanted it to become a

major tool for families with CF. All of the book's sales will be donated to

CF related causes.

I asked Celine Dion, the celebrity patron for the CCFF, to write the foreword

and she happily endorsed the book, named " Reverence for Life " .

We all happen to have lost family or friends to CF and we still cannot save

them - yet. In fact it is this tragedy that makes our cause so special. And

it is to all those lost that I want to dedicate this book.

On the page following Celine's foreword I'd love to build a memorial page

instead of the usual wordy dedication.

If you have lost a loved one or known anybody that we lost to CF and you want

him or her included in the memorial, please mail me at simon@... so

we can include him or her in the memorial.

A book endorsed by a superstar like Celine, who really, really cares for

pwcf, will reach many generations after us and it will tell a story of life,

love and loss.

daughter in your memorial for your book.

Her name was Jayne Varga (Dolly)
