Guest guest
Hi Kelli, It certainly wouldn't hurt you to try SCD, and it would probably end up being an answer for you. I started SCD 3 months after my kids had been on it. While it is a pain in the butt in the beginning, it has been worth it. In general, I do feel a lot better. And I have a bowel movement almost everyday. Prior to SCD I would only have a bowel movement every 3rd or 4th day. My vote is to try it out. It will most likely be worth it. Jeni Lynn (gastrointestinal problems) SCD 1 month bloating-OT Hi all, this is sorta a follow up to my peanut thread (thanks to those that gave me some feedback). Well, I don't think it was the peanuts.I am still extremely bloated. I look 4 months pregnant (and I am not). I am not on SCD (my son is) and my diet has been pretty consistent before and after the bloating started.) I am gf/cf and sugar and potato free.rarely have soy. I did add a few items back into my diet after the holidays but have been totally free of them for about 2 weeks. The bloating started about a week ago. I am on a multi, omega 3, flax, and St. s Wort, 5-HTP, and Tyrosine. I have never had many digestive problems, except for the occasional bloat after soy or if I don't have a BM for days. Well, now I have pressure and bloating and it DID coincide exactly when I started a new probiotic. I stopped the probiotic 2 days ago and while the bloating has gone down a tad.it is still uncomfortable. I am at a loss! Is this a sign that I may need to embark on the scd path myself? Could it still be the affects of the new probiotic? Could it be die-off? Is it most likely another health problem? I thought I would ask here because so many of you have dealt with digestive issues and might be able to shed some light. Thanks in advance! ..........
