Hey Kimber,

Thanks for the hug...Jackie needs all she can get. We are so glad to

be home although she is still hurting but not as bad. The lortab

(hydrocodone) seems to be doing the job. She is still on clear

liquids though, maybe try eating tomorrow. She is losing weight

which she has some to play with, and I am gaining it, LOL. I surely

don't need anymore, LOL.

Yes, there is a hospital near by. I will be using it from now

on. Her family doctor, general practitioner or primary care, well

they only use this one. But I don't care. Some other docs will have

to treat her. A nurse that works with her old pediatric GI, said we

might be getting a new ped GI in Feb, not positive yet. I am

hopeful, I like ton, but we need someone close. This would be

in a big town next to us and that is where her old doc was and the

old hospital. They have a Children's Hospital, in which the one we

just came out of just has a few children's rooms. A nurse from the

offices of the hospital called today and asked how the treatment was

and I told her. She asked if the nursing director could call. I

told her we would be never coming back. It might be the wrong thing

to say I don't know but maybe they will fix their treatment plan for

other patients. Thanks for all of your support. I know you guys are

here for me and Jackie. I appreciate you always being here for me, I

really do. You always have something supportive for everyone.

Thanks again,

Hey Kimber,

I am praying this new one coming in February is a good ped GI too. I

know the hospital is cuz that is where her old one was. They are

interviewing for a new one. One of the nurses, I called her, told me

that it looks like one agreed to start in Feb so far it looks good.

He will be at the same office that her old one was, it is about a 25

minute drive to his office, the hospital takes only 20. This is a

city right next to us and I prefer this hospital. The reason I took

her to my little city's hospital is that is where are family doctor

is, the general doc, or Primary Care physician...people use different

names for them but it is the doctors office that takes care of our

colds, flus, etc...I never had a pediatric MD for my kids just a

family practice doc for the whole family. So when her ped GI left

town we went to charleston to see her new ped GI and let the family

doc be a liason for them. I really don't know if they ever even got

on the phone with him. When I get to MUSC next week I will be asking

him though, if not I am definitely changing family physicians. I

really want her to have a GI here not 4 hours away though so I hope

this new one works out. Thanks for all of your prayers and talk to

ya soon
