help what can i get for all these dame bumps on my face this is ridiculous 60

or more just hard bumps they are not pus filled or anything just bumps like

swelled up things i cant take this rosacea sometimes i am not flushing or

blushing i put desowen on them because i am sick of them they wont go away

they cleared up and boom in one day they came back i just ate pizza surely

that would not cause a bunch of bumps like that. I take septra antibiotic

twice a day and use metrogel they would not go away with that so I use the

desowen and it helped but now they are back. I would put Clorox on it to get

a clearing of them if it would help. the desowen is outdated by 2 years

I've had rosacea dating back to Pre-cea at age nine, but acne-wise

I've never had particularly bad skin until recently except for a few months

or so after a bad reaction to prednisone. However right now I have TONS of

tiny little hard red bumps just like what you describe. Probably around 60

or more. I can go from a relatively good complexion to a mess in one night

also, usually after eating certain foods (Especially Pizza). This was never

a problem for me until I went on oral antibiotic therapy. I'm not sure

exactly how, but I am more convinced than ever that oral antibiotic therapy

causes this problem (Someone else wrote me yesturday saying they had tons of

little red bumps on their forehead that appeared shortly after going on

antibiotics.. and I've heard similar stories from several other people too).

I dont know exactly how it happens, but my best guess is that the

problem is called Pitysprorum Folliculitus caused by a yeast overgrowth

(which happens with antibiotics). I could be WAY off on the exact cause,

but I'm almost positive oral antibiotics are to blame. (This isnt to say

that oral antibiotics dont have their benefits, this is just a side effect

that I dont think gets enough press, seeing as how it seems to be happening

relatively often based on what I've seen)
