Guest guest
I have a dear friend with cf who refers to being hospitalized as " going to the Big House, " that is, jail. In California all patients must spend three days in hospital (maybe 2.5 if the shift changes) prior to going home--and they are moaning about hospital costs! The other thing that I left out, especially with kids is that this is often a chance to do a fecal fat stool test (poop test), which is really a killer at home--three days' worth of poop in the refrigerator--cool--and/or other needed tes ts that are appropriate that would be more inconvenient for all on an out-patient basis--bronchoscopies, endoscopies, colonoscopies, sam pling of pancreatic fluid--you name it--all easer when " in " than " out! " Gosh, this just all such fun! Why are we not on television--world-wide? Love to all at cfparents, n Rojas
