CFRI support Groups

Those of you in California could use the event for a small list meeting.

This is just a reminder that Cystic Fibrosis Research Inc will have their

bimonthly support groups commencing on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, at the CFRI

Office. The office is located at 2672 Bayshore Parkway, Suite 520, Mountain

View, California. From Hwy 101, exit San Rd. North (towards the Bay)

, turn right at Bayshore. The second driveway on your left will take you

into Bayshore Business Park. CFRI is at suite 520. Call the office for more

THe parent support groups will be from 10-12 am, facilitated by Ann

and Kathleen Flynn. The CF adult/teen support group will be from 12-2 ,

facilitated by Isa Stenzel and Terry Phelan, social workers with CF.

The CF group will meet outdoors to minimize the risk of cross infection so

please dress accordingly.

AFTER THE SUPPORT GROUPS WILL BE an optional HOLIDAY PARTY for the CFRI

Retreat participants and anyone interested at 2:30. Bring a wrapped white

elephant gift for a gift exchange and a store bought individually wrapped

food item to share. Please RSVP with Ana or Isa at : anana1872@...

(), or isabear27@... (). Please let us know

what food item you are bringing and how many people you'll bring. We will

supply napkins, plates, cups, drinks, plastic silverware. Volunteers are

needed to help set up. If you have a creative game idea, please let us know

ASAP.

For Cross infection reasons, we ask that those with colds, flus, MRSA, b.

Cepacia or pan resistant pseudomonas aeriginosa refrain from attending. You

will be greatly missed! Please use the honor code and ask your doctor if you

are unsure about your culture results.
