Hi all,

Just spent a fun half hour with Sian working through:

" A Yoga Parade of Animals. A first fun picture book of yoga " . By ine

Mainland. Published by Element Children's Books.

It was so cool. Now, being a very strong Christian, I don't hold with a lot

of the meditation/spiritual side of yoga, but I firmly believe it is a great

way to build up muscle strength and flexibility. And it certainly can't

hurt a child/adult with CF to work at exercises designed to open wide the

chest area/assist with control of breathing! I've been doing a bit of

yoga/pilates work at the gym, in a class called " Body Balance " , so I thought

that giving Sian a go would be good. I must admit, my favourite was the

" Sleeping Snake " . That's where as many people as you have available lie on

their backs on the floor - person number two puts their head on person

number one's tummy, and so it goes along. The goal is to link breathing, so

you are all inhaling/exhaling at the same time, and relax together.

When was the last time your whole family lay down and relaxed together?

Love you all,
