Guest guest
I had my first laser treatment about two and a half weeks ago, and while I was there, the doctor tried to put me on Retin-A, saying that they've had good results with rosacea when Retin-A is used in conjunction with the laser. I told her I'd think about it, but I hadn't really heard any great things about Retin-A and rosacea on this site or anywhere else, and I wanted to do some research before I tried any new treatments. Has anyone used it before? Did you find that it was effective? My feeling is that my face is red enough as it is (hence the laser treatments), and anything that would irritate my skin further would add insult to injury. Any thoughts? Also, if you've used it, did the results last after you stopped the treatment or did your skin revert to its normal rosacea self? (As of now, I'm planning to complete my series of laser treatments and see how that comes out. If I'm unhappy enough a year or two from now to put up with red, flaking skin for six months with the hopes of an improved complexion afterward, I might consider it.) Thanks so much! Maybe it was not from that, because I got the Ocular cea also. While using Retin -A , I put on a face toner and it got so red. Be careful with Retin -A
