Taco seasoning?

Can anyone give me a homemade recipe for taco seasoning that is legal?

We're having tacos tonight. I am not having the taco itself of course, but I

was thinking I'd just make mine a taco salad with salsa (fresh made from

Whole Foods), meat and sour cream. I wasn't thinking and went to the store

to get taco seasoning. They all have some sort of sugar :-(

I made my goat yogurt into cheese and it doesn't resemble cheese at all.

It's sour cream! I did a happy dance when I discovered that, having not had

sour cream in years (I can't eat cow milk or soy and I thought those were

the only options). So now I'm happily looking forward to my taco salad with

sour cream tonight :-)

Sour cream is not allowed. Use dripped yogurt instead. Make shells from

Provolone Cheese

melted on parchment paper and cooled over a broom handle to make a taco shape.

Here is an original ILLEGAL recipe followed by a loose suggested adaptation.

Asterisks

donate ILLEGALs

1 tbsp. chili powder*

2 tsp. onion powder*

1 tsp. ground cumin

1 tsp. garlic powder*

1 tsp. paprika

1 tsp. dry oregano

1 tsp. sugar*

1/2 tsp. salt

I left in the legal ingredients for a homemade taco seasoning. Fool around with

it a bit

until it tastes right. My translation:

tiny bit of chopped Jalepenos, seeds removed

minced onion

ground cumin

minced garlic

paprika

dry oregano

a few drops of honey

1/2 tsp. salt
