Dear Diane,

I too often times am admitted on the weekends and end up with a different

doc. FRUSTRATING, to say the least. I would take a list of meds that your

reg. doc gives and show the weekend docs. My doc/s group also has " on-call "

docs at night!!! I have learned to go the the ER during the week, between

7:30 and 8:30 a.m. They are all caught up from the night and I usually get

right in, and they can track down my doc fairly easily.

I know you can't always predict attacks, but I try to " plan " when to go to

the ER!

under the care of the hospitalists. I always carry a list of meds and

the ER docs always have access to my old charts.

>>>Most of the time, since I live alone, it is really frightening to

try to get through until Monday morning. If I could wait that long, I

may as well go to the office to see my own doc unless he sends me to

ER (which he has done before).
