I am so new to this group that I do not know what would happen if a

pseudosyst did break. I had one a few years ago and it just went away on its

own and I did not have any more problems for a couple of years. Also did you

have to wait for the pseudosyst to reach a certain stage for the operation.

My doctor said I needed to and that was part of the reason I was in the

hospital for three months. Also when you have yours done how are they going

to do it?. Mine was drained into the stomach and them pumped out. I just

want to know all I can about this condition because if I have more problems

I think it helps to understand a little better.

Sincerely

Myrna

-- Surgery on Thursday

Hey everyone,

Just thought I would drop a quick note to let everyone know that I

won't be around for a couple of weeks.

I am having another pseudocyst removed, this one is 12cm, so I guess

I am lucky it hasn't burst.

I also have a growth on one of my ovaries, so when they do the

surgery on Thursday, they are going to take care of that too.

Keep as well and as pain free as you can, and I will see you all when

I get back.

Dear ,

Thanks for letting us know you are having surgery on Thursday. I am

everything goes just fine. Remember to take it easy when you get home

Thanks for the reply ,

I worry that my surgeon did not know a lot about the pancreas but he told

me they have to kind of ripen and get a harder out cover so you can work

with them. I do not know how big mine was and he never talked about it

rupturing. I didn't know they did that.

My pseudocyst was pushing on my stomach causing me to feel sick all the

time. The one I had before was pushing on a bile duct to the liver and was

starting to cause the liver stress, but it just went away.

I hope all goes well for you. I am doing good now and have very little pain

but worry all the time about another attack.

Sincerely

Myrna
