Guest guest
Dear Everyone: My children's favorite recipes are as follows: BTVC pizza recipe w/o the added italian spices (add a little more almond flour) I use a oive oiled plastic cup to roll out the pizza, pork roast with honey and Rosemary, Lois Lang Bread, Lentils soaked, cooked and just add salt, and the waffle recipe from the Digestive Wellness Website. I have always made alot of gravy dishes. I add microwaved cooked onion, first pureed to thicken or I just serve it runny. To make a gravy, just brown dry meat with olive oil then add water or stock 2-3 cups of water. Then either cook for an hour or two or pressure cook it. The seasonings can vary the flavor. The most delicious is just salt, pepper and garlic. For darker, more flavorful gravies, after you brown and just add one cup of water, cook down again until you have browning again on the bottom of the pan. You can do this over and over again, until it is dark enough. Just don't burn it. It'll be ruined. I serve this over baked butternut squash. I make the butternut squash like mash potatoes. I also put it over mashed cauliflower. My favorite cookie recipe I made up modifying the monster cookie recipe 2 beaten eggs 4 cups of brazilian flour 2 cups of cashew flour 2 tlb of melted butter or 1 tablespoon of coconut oil 1 tsp baking powder 1/8 tsp salt 1 cup of honey 2 tsp vanilla Bake for 15-17 minutes on at 325 degrees My family cannot stop eating them, they taste like candy and they are super chewy. I hope this helps. By the way the waffle recipe works with almond nut butter too. I don't have time but next time I will post my family's all time favorite crawfish frittata's. I've used the recipe with crab and shrimp, it comes out equally good. It is my version of crawfish etoufee without the rice. I am from New Orleans. Guest guest
Dear Sandy: Yes, but it would be an entirely different cookie. I find the Brazilian nut flour get a unique chewyness to it that the other flour do no get. Its a very oil flour. That chewyness is what makes it like candy.
