I agree, Elena, though remember that there are also solid studies

supporting the claims of topical antibiotics, and they are only

recommended for mild rosacea. Conventional medicine has lots of hype,

but I'm familiar with it so I can usually separate out the truth from

the hype for me and my patients. But with alternative medical

therapies I can't find the studies, the guidelines, the consumer

protections, etc like I do for conventional medicine.

This is important: to the extent some here hold these treatments in

faith, I sincerely respect that. I'm honestly not interested in

challenging anyone's belief system. If there are no answers it

doesn't mean it's not true, it just means there are no answers.
