Guest guest
Thanks, Sheila. You've really put my mind at ease. I did another search looking for what I had seen before, and I think the message that I panicked on was http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/pecanbread/message/33953. It's a message saying that green peas are legumes and needs to be soaked first. I never soak & throw away the water before using frozen green peas (before giving it to the kids straight, crockpot cooking it, or stir-frying it). Because I didn't do the soaking thing, I thought it was illegal. Thanks so much, Angie > > Hi Angie, > > > I was going through the archives today looking for info on whether > > green pea flour is legal (which I found out is not), when I came > across > > a post saying that green peas themselves are illegal. > > > This is incorrect, fresh or frozen green peas (also just > called " peas " ) are legal.
