Guest guest
On a different note, I had the barium swallow test on Monday. I was told that it would constipate me, but within 2 hrs it came back out the other end (diarrhea), gross I know, but maybe it means something. I was very ill feeling for the remainder of the day too. I also found out that the GI is testing me for Celiac's disease and Crohn's disease. I see him about the results on Dec 5. Joia Joia, Several years ago, TWENTY, now that I think about it, yet it seems like just a few years...haha, I had the barium swallow test done, too. I was having severe abdominal pains, nausea and vomiting after eating, and the Air Force doctors were testing me for various things. I had horrible diarrhea within just a few hours after taking the barium as a result, that I remember like it was yesterday! So you aren't the only one that's happened to. BTW, no conclusive diagnosis was made at that time as to what was wrong with me. I was in the process of filing for divorce and going through major stress with that, and the problems resolved once the stress did! Did you have a chance to talk to your doctor about pancreatitis? Keep in touch and let us know about the results of your tests. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina Southeastern Representative Pancreatitis Association, Intl.
