On a different note, I had the barium swallow test on Monday. I

was told that it would constipate me, but within 2 hrs it came

back out the other end (diarrhea), gross I know, but maybe it

means something. I was very ill feeling for the remainder of the

day too.

I also found out that the GI is testing me for Celiac's disease and

Crohn's disease. I see him about the results on Dec 5.

Joia

Joia,

Several years ago, TWENTY, now that I think about it, yet it

seems like just a few years...haha, I had the barium swallow test

done, too. I was having severe abdominal pains, nausea and

vomiting after eating, and the Air Force doctors were testing me

for various things. I had horrible diarrhea within just a few hours

after taking the barium as a result, that I remember like it was

yesterday! So you aren't the only one that's happened to.

BTW, no conclusive diagnosis was made at that time as to what

was wrong with me. I was in the process of filing for divorce and

going through major stress with that, and the problems resolved

once the stress did!

Did you have a chance to talk to your doctor about pancreatitis?

Keep in touch and let us know about the results of your tests.

With hope and prayers,
