Guest guest
I don't know about other states... but you might want to check out WIC... they have both the Medela and Advent Pump-In-Style... they loan out the Medela or will give you a PIS.... worth checking in to. When Josh was hospitalized at 5 weeks they had me pump my milk from then on and add fortifiers... I was heartbroken, but was glad he could still use my milk. Once I got home I didn't think I'd be able to keep up after using the hospital pump for so long... the PIS worked just fine, you can do one side at a time or double pump. One word of caution though::: Don't try to screw the cones on the bottles too hard or it will crack.... just experience... I still get to nurse Josh once or twice a day - that is if he isn't to lazy to do it.... He found the bottle was just a lot easier than mom.... *:-.,_,.-:*'``'*n Fromknecht*'``'*:-.,_,.-:* proud momma to 3 beautiful daughters and one young prince! " The pump I used (8 or 9 years ago) was a Medela. Call a local La Leche League chapter (they are all over the world) and see if they can sell or rent you one. Mine was so easy to take to work and had all of the bottles and everything. Lori
