Guest guest
I am finding it difficult to find what juices are safe. When I look at the web, I can not find this information easily. Please help me out here. We didn't realize until recently that we where screwing up the SCD with 100% juices that where not 100%! We use 100% apple juice, and when we called they said that there is not sugar in it. Do I trust them??? Thanks for input....forward to others if you can...we need help in this area. Antoinette infractions Having recently seen diarrhea from my daughter and thinking I'd done something wrong, I have just discovered that she was given apple juice without our knowledge. When we did the GF diet, such infractions could put her back months. Is that the same for this diet? Or does the damage only last until the " illegal " has worked its way through the body? Guest guest
Apple juice is not allowed on SCD, unless you press your own apples through a juicer. Apple cider is allowed, as long as there are no additives. (Apple juice is a clear, pale yellowish color. Apple cider is an opaque, nearly tan color.) As far as juices go... Tropicana Original (none of the vitamin enriched or mixed flavors) in CARTONS, not in the frozen section Welch's 100% grape juice. Red, purple and white-contains sulfites to which some people react. 100% pineapple juice-not from concentrate, such as Dole 100% tomato juice, no additives Knudsens' JUST JUICE line (this includes about 7 flavors, I believe) Kedem grape juice Any fruit or vegetable can be juiced in a home juicer Jody mom to -7 and -9 SCD 1/

All commercial apple juice is illegal. Here's a list of legal commercial juices: Tropicana Pure premium OJ Dole pineapple juice Heinz and 's Tomato juice The Knudsen's *Just Juice* line (not the rest of their products) Kedeem grape juice Welch's Grape juice, (Red, white, purple) Sheila
