Guest guest
Hi, Y'all. Since there has been so much discussion of Pancreatic Cancer lately I thought I would throw this in. There is a simple blood test that checks for the antigen specific to Pancreatic Cancer. It is called the CA-19-9 test. It is not infallible but it is something every pancreatitis sufferer should have done regularly. If your GI doc is not having it done when he does your metabolic/enzyme/liver blood tests done then remind him/her. It is a good way to have peace of mind. Chuck Chuck Sullivan chuck@...
