Hi, I was hoping that someone would be able to help me, I am looking

for a support group in Australia.

I have had 3 rather serious attacks of pancreatitis since December

2001, and I still don't know what is causing them. I suffer pain in

between attacks on a regular basis. I have searched the web looking

for Australian support groups, but I have come up with nothing.

I am 38 female, and I take estrogen supplements. I also suffer from

very bad Adhesions and have numerous operations for this.

My gallbladder went last year, and that has been removed, but when I

was in hospital in may for pancreatitis my gastrin levels were

elevated and I have something called erosive duodatitis.

I am starting to get desperate for answers and more information as to

what can cause pancreatitis apart from alcohol and gallstones.

I haven't been given any special diets to follow, but I was reading

something that said nuts can be bad for you if you suffer from

pancreatitis, and I eat nuts daily.
