Five, almost six years ago, my daughter was diagnosed with CF with a blood test in which two mutations for CF were found. Later, we decided to switch CF centers. When we go to the new one, the staff tried to tell me that Mycah would have to have a sweat test. I was very upset when someone came to their senses and realized that there was no need for a sweat test if she had already tested positive for CF.
