Fourteen signed for the entire six week session and more are expected to register in time for the first class. Many who attended brought along another family member. People from last year who returned are doing very well on SCD. Jodi, and I were pleased with the enthusiasm and I think Loblaws will be too. Their coordinator has been so supportive and offered each person who signed up for the whole course a free coupon for another cooking class worth at least $30 as an incentive. We explained, the history and science of the diet, invited participants to detail their experiences and diagnosis, We went over the menus, but had to reserve many pertinent details for the actual classes because the discussion was lively and prolonged. Jodi brought along delicious " Sand Cookies " from the Grain-Free Gourmet cookbook. SCD has changed our lives. For me it usually means bouts of sleeplessness LOL! Carol F.
