After reading Marjorie's post related to this, I was wondering if the damage to

the barrier so that it cannot perform its normal function have anything to do

with a sudden bout of sebderm??

if the skin's barrier has been compromised, would it maek sense that it would be

open to other infections like sebderm. ( that is if sebderm can be classifed as

an infection)

Posting has been really slow. I hope that everyone is okay? and just busy with

their lives?

Regards

I don't think that seb derm is an infection even though it looks like it

during an extreme flare.

Maybe you do not have seb derm but are battling some other type of skin

infection--have you tried antibiotics at all? I have tried taking various

antibiotics to control my seb derm but they never helped and may have made

it worse at certain times becasue of the depletion of the good bacteria that

may help fight the seb derm.
