OT Teflon- Don't Cook with It

I just spoke with Caphalon, a division of Dupont, maker of cookware products.

They told me that PFOA is not in their non-stick Teflon products. What PFOA is

is an acid that is used for manufacturer of teflon products, not in the finished

Teflon product itself, and is directly used in carpets, cleaners and different

textile products.

Now, I am not saying this is true or not, just relaying a phone conversation

with Calphalon.

As PFOA is used in tons of other consumer products, that most of us use, I am

wanting to look into this more thoroughly. If anyone here has any information or

links, especially to research or any public releases from FDA, EPA, or

scientists, would you please post them or email them to me privately? I am

hugely concerned.
