Guest guest
Hi, I have been feeling bad about the dispaired note I posted about not getting responses. Everyone answered very graciously, and I now have a lot more information to take to my doctors. I have also been reading postings that have nothing to do with me, and I have to say that you all take very good care of each other. On a different note, I had the barium swallow test on Monday. I was told that it would constipate me, but within 2 hrs it came back out the other end (diarrhea), gross I know, but maybe it means something. I was very ill feeling for the remainder of the day too. I also found out that the GI is testing me for Celiac's disease and Crohn's disease. I see him about the results on Dec 5. For those interested in the oral contraceptive/attack correlation: I read the fine print on my pill package today thinking there might be some information there and sure enough...it is recommended that people with pancreatic disease use a different form of contraceptive. The pill I use is Tri-cyclen. It is a progesterone based one, but still uses estrogen. The fine print was warning about the effects of estrogen. Take care, Joia
