Guest guest
Hi Kerri! My daughter has a similar situation. She did have a lot of metals that were being excreted in her hair, but uranium was insanely high. I am very interested in responses to your post concerning this topic. It is not surprising that your daughter is low in zinc. That is one of the first things that metals deplete. We use the Kirkman's brand of zinc capsules. There is also zinc capsules made by Thorne which are excellent (but I don't know if they are SCD legal). Good luck! Jeni Lynn (gastrointestinal problems) SCD 1 month mom to Margeaux, 6 yr. (heavy metal toxicity, gastrointestinal problems, add) SCD 3 months

Guest guest
Our daughters doctor did a hair analysis...got the results yesterday and she came up pretty low on most of the heavy metals, but was off the chart on uranium!! We live in Southern Calif and he said that he high uranium is not that uncommon because we drink Colorado River Water which is high in natural uranium (and rocket fuel but that is a different story) I buy a few gallons of reverse osmosis water every week anyway to keep the chlorine away from Holli's GI tract. Do you know if there is anything I can do? She was also high in copper and low in zinc...he said this may explain why she is a " hermit " ...tends to like to stay in her room and doesnt like to interact with people so much. Now I am in search of zinc supplements without sweeteners (no luck yet) This may be off topic, but if someone has any help/experience for this, please e mail me directly at kerricm@...
