Guest guest
Am i right in reading that SCD can act as a chelator? I ask becuse my daughter, the last week, is constantly yawning and looking pale. My gut feeling is the above, not an intolerance to any food. She is also undergoing chelation treatment with a DAN doctor, but has never seemed so tired before. (started the diet 3 weeks ago)Her reactions to food tend to come out behaviorally- giggling etc.. Guest guest
In the links section, you'll find this (and other useful links): http://www.kidsnutrition.org/bodycomp/energy/energyneeds_calculator.htm Go there and figure out how many calories she needs per day. The average recommendation for the breakdown of fat, protein and carbs is: 50-55% carbs 30% fat 15-20% protein Carbs and protein have 4 calories per gram. Fat has 9 calories per gram. You can go to: http://www.fitday.com and input a typical days food intake. That will help you determine how many calories she is getting now and it will show the percentages for you.
