Heidi,

You added some wonderful info for Jan. I didn't think to tell her to make sure

to tell the doc about the problems with his nurse (or other staff) if she did

decide to see him.

I'm sure this must be awful for Jan. I am so incredibly blessed with my health

insurance. I think we have now met the $4000 annual catastrophic limit so I'll

have no out of pocket at all for the remainder of the year. Even with systemic

lupus since 1996 and numerous surgeries, I've never come close to meeting

catastropic out of pocket except in 2000 when I had several bouts of - guess

what? - acute pancreatitis!
