Guest guest
I also have this St. Ives clay mask & I don't know if it is still being made so I use it sparingly...I have moderate cea and I was just recently diagnosed. This Clay mask is wonderful so I also would like to know if anyone out there knows anything about clay masks in relation to cea.
Guest guest
I have stopped using clay masks. On page 77 of Dr. Nase's book, he says that anti-acne mud or clay masks are powerful irritants (no matter what the package claims) and can catapult rosacea sufferers into the next worse stage. I used to find that while I was waiting for the clay mask to dry my nose would seem to throb, or I could feel my pulse in my nose. Maybe this was due to the blood being drawn close to the skin. If it irritates acne, it must surely be no good for rosacea. In any case, I am not going to use clay masks anymore. I hope this helps.
